Six Senses London opened in March 2026 inside The Whiteley in Bayswater, the building that began as London's first luxury department store. The Grade II listed façade is kept; behind it, AvroKo and EPR Architects rebuilt the interior around the original grand staircase, taken apart, lengthened and re-erected by hand, rising three floors beneath a glass dome. The hotel holds 109 rooms and suites and 14 branded residences.
The spa occupies a single level below the street and covers over 2,300 square metres: 13 treatment rooms, a Turkish hammam, saunas and steam rooms, a 20-metre indoor pool, a magnesium plunge pool and a cold plunge. On the same floor sit a flotation pod, a cryotherapy chamber, a 325-square-metre fitness suite, a studio for meditation and yoga, a biohack recovery lounge and the Alchemy Bar, where seasonal British botanicals are blended into treatments to take home.
Wellness starts with a screening: 45 minutes, 40 biomarkers, then a plan built around sleep, detox, fitness or yoga. Programmes run two, four or six nights for hotel guests and day visitors. Spa treatments are 10:00 to 20:00; the gym is open around the clock and supervised until 20:00.
